Integrated Bioinformatics Tool De Novo Tags Assembly for Antibody Sequence Reconstruction

Problem. Given current infrastructure at GNF, in-house service development was beneficial over outsourcing in terms of fast turn-around time and intellectual property protection.

Action. Developed a high-confidence antibody V-region reconstruction method utilized public genomics database of antibodies, classified most probable template sequence, reconstructed full information from fragmented data.

Result. Provided accurate full de novo sequence for antibody biotherapeutics. Now fully functional in-house service at no risk of confidential information disclosure by leveraging combined information protocol (genomics/proteomics/informatics).
