Integrated Bioinformatics Tool De Novo Tags Assembly for Antibody Sequence Reconstruction

  • Problem. Given current infrastructure at GNF, in-house service development was beneficial over outsourcing in terms of fast turn-around time and intellectual property protection.
  • Action. Developed a high-confidence antibody V-region reconstruction method utilized public genomics database of antibodies, classified most probable template sequence, reconstructed full information from fragmented data.
  • Result. Provided accurate full de novo sequence for antibody biotherapeutics. Now fully functional in-house service at no risk of confidential information disclosure by leveraging combined information protocol (genomics/proteomics/informatics).
